Trademark Ownership

DocSeed™ is a brand operated by Park Avenue Notary, LLC. Park Avenue Notary, LLC claims ownership of the DocSeed™ and Park Avenue Notary™ trademarks and associated brand identities, subject to applicable law and the rights of others.

These marks are used to identify and distinguish the products and services offered under their respective brands.

Trademark rights may arise through use of a mark in commerce and may also be supported by applicable registrations. The display of the ™ designation communicates a trademark claim and does not, by itself, indicate federal registration.

Nothing in this policy should be interpreted as claiming exclusive rights in generic or descriptive wording apart from any legally protectable use of a mark as a source identifier.

Protected Brand Elements

Our trademarks and related brand materials may include, where legally protected:

• The names DocSeed™ and Park Avenue Notary™.
• Official logos, wordmarks, and distinctive graphic representations of either brand.
• Distinctive visual designs, icons, or other identifiers that function as indicators of the source of our services.
• Other brand identifiers adopted and used by Park Avenue Notary, LLC in connection with its business operations.

Individual elements such as ordinary colors, typefaces, or common design features are not necessarily protected trademarks on their own. Protection depends on applicable law and how an element is used.

Permitted References to Our Brands

We recognize that customers, journalists, reviewers, educators, and other third parties may need to refer to DocSeed or Park Avenue Notary when communicating accurate information about our services.

Generally, you may use our names in truthful, non-misleading, descriptive, or referential statements, including:

• Identifying DocSeed or Park Avenue Notary as the provider of a product or service.
• Discussing, reviewing, comparing, or reporting on our services.
• Referring to an actual business relationship, transaction, or customer experience.
• Linking to our publicly accessible websites using accurate and non-misleading descriptions.
• Making other uses permitted by applicable law, including fair use and other legally protected references.

When referencing either brand, please use the correct spelling and capitalization, and avoid suggesting sponsorship, affiliation, certification, or endorsement where none exists.

Restricted and Unauthorized Uses

Unless authorized by Park Avenue Notary, LLC or otherwise permitted by applicable law, third parties should not use our trademarks in ways that create a likelihood of confusion regarding the source, sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement of products or services.

Examples of potentially unauthorized conduct include:

• Presenting an unrelated business, product, or service as an official DocSeed or Park Avenue Notary offering.
• Using confusingly similar names, logos, or branding in connection with competing or unrelated commercial services.
• Creating websites, social media accounts, advertisements, or applications that impersonate either brand.
• Using our names or logos to falsely imply an authorized partnership, agency relationship, certification, or endorsement.
• Applying our brand identity to counterfeit, fraudulent, misleading, or unauthorized commercial materials.
• Registering or using domain names or account identifiers in a manner that unlawfully infringes our trademark rights.

The determination of whether a particular use infringes trademark rights depends on the circumstances and applicable law. This policy does not restrict lawful fair use, commentary, criticism, comparison, or other protected activity.

Use of Logos and Visual Identity

Official DocSeed and Park Avenue Notary logos should be reproduced accurately when their use has been authorized.

Unless expressly authorized, third parties should not:

• Alter an official logo in a manner that misrepresents the brand.
• Combine a logo with unrelated symbols or marks to suggest a joint brand or official relationship.
• Use official brand assets as the primary identity of an unrelated business, application, or service.
• Place our logos on merchandise or promotional materials in a manner that falsely suggests authorization or sponsorship.

Requests for authorized commercial use of official logos, co-branded materials, or other proprietary brand assets should be submitted through our contact page.

Nothing in this section prohibits uses of logos or other materials that are independently permitted by applicable law.

Websites, Domains, and Digital Media

The DocSeed brand is associated with its official website at docseed.co and its customer platform at app.docseed.co .

The use of our trademarks within domain names, website titles, social media identifiers, mobile applications, or advertising must comply with applicable trademark law.

Independent commentary, reviews, comparisons, and other lawful references are permitted. However, websites and digital accounts must not deceptively present themselves as official DocSeed or Park Avenue Notary properties.

We may investigate impersonation, phishing, misleading advertising, and other potentially unlawful uses of our marks that could expose customers or the public to confusion or harm.

Third-Party Relationships and Partnerships

DocSeed may work with independent service providers, technology companies, attorneys, notaries, and other third parties in connection with available products and services.

A business relationship with DocSeed or Park Avenue Notary, LLC does not automatically grant a third party permission to use our logos or trademarks for marketing, branding, or promotional purposes.

Authorized partners must follow any applicable written agreements, licensing terms, or brand-use instructions.

Neither the existence of a business relationship nor a reference to our services should be represented as an endorsement beyond the actual scope of the relationship.

Trademark Notices and Attribution

When appropriate, our brand names may appear with the ™ designation to communicate our trademark claims.

The following attribution may be used when an acknowledgment is appropriate:

Third-party product names, company names, and logos referenced on our websites remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance does not necessarily indicate sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation.

Use of the ™ designation does not mean that a mark has been federally registered. The registered trademark symbol (®) will be used only where legally appropriate.

Reporting Trademark Misuse

We take reports of potential brand impersonation, deceptive use of our names or logos, and other suspected trademark misuse seriously.

If you believe someone is improperly using the DocSeed or Park Avenue Notary identity, please contact us with as much relevant information as possible.

Helpful information may include:

• The name or website of the party involved.
• A description of the suspected misuse.
• Relevant links, screenshots, or promotional materials.
• Your contact information so that we may request additional details if necessary.

Submission of a report does not guarantee that enforcement action will be taken. Each report may be evaluated based on the available information and applicable law.

Enforcement, Rights, and Policy Updates

Protection of Trademark Rights

Park Avenue Notary, LLC reserves the right to protect and enforce its legally established trademark rights through appropriate measures, including requests to correct or discontinue infringing uses, platform reporting procedures, negotiated resolutions, or legal proceedings when warranted.

No Implied License

Except as expressly authorized or otherwise permitted by applicable law, nothing in this policy grants a license or ownership interest in any DocSeed or Park Avenue Notary trademark, logo, or proprietary brand material.

Rights of Others

This policy does not eliminate any rights belonging to third parties, restrict lawful uses of trademarks, or expand trademark protections beyond those provided by law.

Policy Revisions

Park Avenue Notary, LLC may update this policy to reflect changes in business operations, brand standards, or applicable legal requirements.

Any revised policy will be made available on the DocSeed website with an updated effective date.
